10-x203, can i edit firmware in it?

Theres nothing else to do with this piece of crap modem than to either toss it, or if i could edit the settings in it, take out that static ip.. seems impossible to edit anything in htere.. am i right?

Therre was a thread in here somewhere... some guy was getting close to figuring out how to make the modem work with other DSL vendors. Dunno where the thread is anymore though. You might find it with some searching.

I used X3 modem on quest.net atm. It conected trained and synced. I just couldn't figure out how to change the IPs

If you wanted a quick fix and COULD get the TI JTAG hacked out (not likely), your easiest bet would probably be just to grab the firmware, disassemble it, change some jmp's to nop's , and then hex edit a new ip in.....
