Hey everyone. We just got this in the National Help desk for RR from management. This all sounds pretty exciting!
eTrust EZ Armor
Product Overview
The eTrust EZ Armor is a new security software package available to RoadRunner customers. The eTrust EZ Armor Security Suite consists of eTrust EZ Antivirus and eTrust EZ Firewall in one simple-to-install package. A pop-up stopper is also included. Customer will be able to download the package for free (a $49.95 value) for one year. They can renew their subscription for free for two additional years but will need to sign up for a new software key for each year.
RoadRunner Security Site
Customers will download the EZ Armor package from the RoadRunner Security Site which is a new feature of Quantum Leap. The RR Security site will launch on or about 1/19/2004. There will be links from the Quantum Leap home page to the RR Security Site. Currently, there are no screenshots available for the RR Security Site.

Trust EZ Firewall
Features/Benefits of eTrust EZ Firewall
Software Firewall with a choice of Low, Medium or High Security settings. Program Control options to allow you to control a specific programs Internet access. Ad Blocking Blocks pop-up, pop-under and animated ads. Cookie Control Email Attachment Protection through the MailSafe quarantine system. Mobile Code Control to block imbedded objects, mime objects, scripts and javascripts. Optional Stealth Mode to make you invisible on the Internet. Emergency Internet STOP button to immediately stop all Internet activity. Internet Lock button to protect your computer if you leave it connected to the Internet but inactive for long periods.

Is this public information? Or, are you leaking something that RR intends to promote? Many of us would like to have an official representative of RR on this forum. If you get your wings clipped for inappropriate disclosures, that will make it just that much harder to obtain. |
