durrem join:2000-12-06 San Jose, CA | SF bay area problems? I'm in Milpitas, CA and my DSL went out. Anyone else having this problem? I checked the support.earthlink.net site and this just popped up under the backbone section:
ALERT: Northern California: Auth Failures and Loss of IP Connectivity 13-Jan-2004 22:54:23 Details...
but details only says "page not found" |

| reply to durrem Same here...Glad to hear that I didn't mess up my computer when I downloaded and installed the new Windows Update. It told me that I needed to restart for the updates to finish so I did. But when I got back I couldn't connect...I thought the updates did it so I used windows restore to go back and still couldn't connect...lol
Decided to try dial-up and went to ELN network status and couldn't see anything there so I came here...Should have know I should have checked here the very first thing...

durrem join:2000-12-06 San Jose, CA | reply to durrem Heh, luckily, my next door neighbor has an open wireless network...
Anyway, when I got home at 6:30, everything was very slow, like 8/100. I usually get 650/100. Then it died around the same time as everyone else. Also, it was slow last night around 2 or so, but I think that was the scheduled maintenance, as it was fine this morning. |

Re: SF bay area problems? Back down in the Upper Market. I had trouble finding a dialup phone number that works. Anyone else have the same problem?
I hope we are back up by AM or I will be a very unhappy camper. |

Krok @dialup.mindspring.co | I'm still out, 7:45 am, San Francisco.
There is a big power outage in SF, apparently. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. |
