Re: URGENT: New video card - Mac won't boot

Is this a Sawtooth? Seems to me that prwood See Profile had a similar video issue with his Sawtooth/Geforce combo. Yeah, right here... »[X] Panther + GeForce users -- results?

What I like about Peter is that he alway has very well-formed and descriptive catchy titles.

Are you running 10.3.2? Seems like Peter also reported his issue was resolved with this update: »10.3.2 on SU

I did some work with jDyno See Profile last night, and it doesn't seem that he is affected by the same bug as I was... in any case, 10.3.2 would have fixed it.

The best theory I have now is that the "new" card he got did "something" to his computer after he put it in, and that's why neither card is working now. He mentioned that he is going to try calling both NVIDIA and MegaMacs (where he bought the card from).
