 i need your help, please!!!

help me please
i have an netopie cayman router. now i tried to have an audio conversation on msn with a friend of mine. it didn't work. now i am pretty that i have to open some ports of my router. but i have no idea how to do that, pls help me.

actually needs to be in the cayman forum.

netopia does not list a fix for this in the 354x series. you should try updating the firmware to 6.4r2 and see if it fixes it. msn uses ALG to pass the traffic and originally the 3500 series did not support it. i am not sure if the 6.4 firmware does or not, since i have not tried to use msn for audio.

another option is to goto a cmd prompt, and type netstat -a -n and see which ports are lsitening. then forward those ports to your machine.
