Seems like this would block all mailing lists that preserve the senders from field.
This could explain why many AOL users on mailing lists I belong to are complaining that they aren't receiving any mail.
Not to mention AOL will now block mail from ISP's that don't implement this (like Comcast). |

The From: field is the wrong one to check, since it is not even required by the SMTP protocol, and easily forged anyway.
The envelope sender is the one to check. |
