| TrueVector Errors
Howdy!!
I am using XP Pro and Zone Alarm and under administrative tools/ event viewer I see there are a lot of TrueVector service errors.
The errors are that:
TrueVector engine File IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt and has been copied to a different file and that it has been deleted.
IAMDB.RDB was being restored from backup.
TrueVector engine File computername.ldb" was corrupt and has been copied to a different file and that it too has been deleted.
Anyone get these or know why I am getting them? Could it be another side effect of running in limited user?
Thanks

Go to C>Windows>Internet logs. Clear the contents of the folder, and then re-boot.

| reply to ken5 It's possible that your settings are corrupt. This is the correct way to remove them:»www.zonelabs.com/store/content/s···10issues
Note that you will have to re-do all custom settings.
If it were me, I would run some other tests to see if the settings are really corrupt. For example, set a program that you have set to auto-access to "ask." If that works, then you may have another problem. Does ZA ever shut down? As in a red X through the icon on the system tray? -- *Team Z* Member **PCQ&A Forum** |

| reply to marti Thanks for the prompt reply guys!
I will delete the settings and see if that helps. I already uninstalled and reinstalled ZA and that did not help, but I'll give it a try.
ZA seems to running normally and prgrams do ask for access. ZA does not shut down, as a red x in the tray, though a few times I did have to reboot to get internet access.

| reply to BCA2812 Hi BCA,
Are you saying that this is caused by shutdowns, standbys, or restarts? Honestly I do not know what the computer is doing when these errors occur, but I do know that I do not get them for each standby, shutdown, or restart. If it is normal and the program is running correctly then I don't care about the messages themself being there.
