Localnet 2B configuration

I have a pipeline 75 that I would like to use with Localnet. I think I have the correct configuration but I can only get the first channel to connect. Any suggestions?

The config looks like this:

I don't know your level of expertise. Refer to the Lucent Start Here Guide and use telnet at the dos prompt to set the Pipeline.

If you don't have the docs, refer to my Lucent Ascend Pipeline 75 post 2004-01-14 15:47:38 for links to the docs.

Thanks Joe, but I have all the documentation for my P75. I have all the manuals that came with it, along with the Ascend docs for the verions of firmware on my box. The real question was about configurations with Localnet. They have no details on their configuration...do they use PPP or MPP? Do they use PAP or CHAP? Do they just limit users to one channel? Are their some networks that they use that allow 2b?

Still stuck.

I went to LocalNet's site, terms of service state "LocalNet does not permit users to be logged on to our service using multiple simultaneous connections. " To me this means they do not support 2 connections, meaning ISDN. For 2 channel ISDN 2B+1D to work you have to have 2 connections (SPIDS). Unless it is hidden, it looks like LocalNet does not support ISDN. Their site indicates they have 56K analog and cable available.

Suggest you look for ISP elsewhere, expect to pay $20+ per month for the ISP, you won't get ISDN for $5.95 per month.

Well Localnet DOES support ISDN. Just contacted them just can't get a answer on 1ch or 2 ch. For 9.95 it's not a bad deal if its 2 channel.

"Currently, we do have local dial up numbers in your area. The service is unlimited access, and ISDN is also available for the connection lines.

Thank you,

I have been using Localnet with 2 channel ISDN for 2 months now (Eastern TN) with it up almost 24 hours a day. It has only gone out and not worked twice for about 1-2 hours each time.
