No doubt, OOL has got the speed, but many users have complained of getting capped when actually trying to use their connection.

You can may be able to buy the 6 mbps plan soon. Afterwards, you can order it and they can cap you at 3mbps if you're too far out.

| Re: If the dsl companies push too hard, Optimum Online. Cable internet service in the Northeast (mostly NY state?) that offers ~10 megabit service for 40ish a month. Some complain that they exercise too many restrictions on what you can do with your connection regarding servers and other things.
