I just moved from Cox to Mediacom because of a house move. Cox had three servers (East, Central & West) with 4 connection threads allowed to each. Are there multiple servers with Mediacom (to use with a multi server news tool such as BNR2) and what is the maximum thread connection limit? The only server they will tell me about is netnews.mchsi.com

You should be able to connect multiple times to that server however. I've had no problems in the past having 3 threads go at the same time. It is a free service though, you might want to look into a pay news service such a giganews or usenetserver. Much better retention.
