| trouble getting to www.sbc.com
Anyone else having trouble getting to some pages on www.sbc.com? I remember seeing a post on the board about this some time ago. I can get to the main page (sometimes) but when I try to log into mysbc or, let's say look at the dsl packages it says page cannot be found. I see that the page is www6.xxx.xxx or something like that. Any help would be great. Maybe some kind of routing issue? I don't know, it's just a little irritating when I try to pay a bill and can't log on. |

tried just sbc.com. It's the pages inside the main one. Everytime i try to go to mysbc to access my sbc account it says page not found. This happens all the time. |

Whenever that happens to me, I disable my proxomitron LAN setting/proxy and make sure java scripting is enabled. A lot of web pages need that.

1 edit | same problem here, cant get to it for the past 2 days at least.. when i ping from my linux box, some replys say something like
From VIP-SBC-Services-1047384.cust-rtr.pacbell.net (67.124.55.34) icmp_seq=17 Packet filtered
but the rest are just dropped.

21 packets transmitted, 0 received, +3 errors, 100% packet loss, time 20001 ms
tried clearing cache.. any solutions or ideas? traces stop after hop 12, looks like a router at swbell.net.
I kinda need to get on there to pay my bill haha. |

It's been up and down for weeks. Earlier today I couldn't get a page to load but then suddenly it worked on a refresh. A wild guess is that their firewall is a little too paranoid... |

I just got onto the login screen using the shortcut above. But going the normail route thru the webpages by selecting the links I can't get to it. I wish they would fix their webpage, it kinds sucks when you can't get to it to pay your bill. Guess they really don't need ALL that money we pay! he he he |
