My end or SBC's???

I ran a speed test from a place that I frequently visit and got the following result:

"running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 0.45Mb/s
running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 3.25Mb/s
Alarm: Duplex mismatch condition exists: Host set to HD and Switch set to FD"

Is this my end or SBC's???

I have ran many tests before at this site but never a a duplex mismatch.....why now after upgrade?

edited in: I have changed no settings on my end BTW (except RWIN )

Your line may not like the new speeds.

Try resetting your modem. Leave it off for 5 minutes and then turn it on.

Hope not. I am hooked right into the NID outside bypassing all of my internal wiring. I will try to cold boot the modem if you think that might help.

1 edit		 Okay I powered down my modem, computer, and router for 5 minutes. Tested at the site again and got these results:

"Web100 reports the Round trip time = 45.48 msec; the Packet size = 1452 Bytes; and
There were 201 packets retransmitted, 148 duplicate acks received, and 0 SACK blocks received
The connection stalled 7 times due to packet loss
The connection was idle 1.68 seconds (16.79%) of the time
This connection is sender limited 8.78% of the time.
This connection is network limited 91.21% of the time.
Contact your local network administrator to report a network problem
Excessive packet loss is impacting your performance, check the auto-negotiate function on your local PC and network switch

web100 reports TCP Performance Enhancement Settings are:
RFC 2018 Selective Acknowledgment: OFF
RFC 896 Nagle Algorithm: ON
RFC 3168 Explicit Congestion Notification: OFF
RFC 1323 Time Stamping: OFF
RFC 1323 Window Scaling: ON
Information: Network Middlebox is modifying MSS variable

You might want to IM David See Profile but if you are on a RT not sure if there is much that can be done.

They can't read line stats off the RT. If you had a modem that could show stats that would help.

Yeah I am on an RT. That is strange because yesterday in primetime (7pm) I was getting 4900 down. A high ranking member IM'd me to see what they could find out. I'm still gonna keep the package though
