I have read here that some people have successfully used the 677. What is different about this modem? Does it have anything to do with ISDN, I read somewhere that it works with ISDN lines which I have no idea why you would have DSL and ISDN?? |

| Theres two different 677's a 677 and a 677i the i is the isdn model that only works over isdn lines. and the regular 677 is compatible with regular phone lines much like a 678 is 677 will not do the older cap technology. If you have a newer line (installed within the past 1.5-2 years then you have a DMT line) |

@qwest.net | reply to Kash76 If you're looking on eBay for a Cisco 677. Don't get the 677i, as Alien000 pointed out!
I use a 677 on my DMT line and it's great! |
