| Well, if they continue being nonresponsive the boxes will be deactivated until a tech can see what the problem is.
A nonresponsive box can indicate wiring problems in the house. It also can indicate possible cable theft. This problem is especially more of a problem as upstreaming becomes more and more important for dats and VOD services.
