lsgko join:2004-01-02 Westmont, IL | Simple VPN Solution with BEFSX41 My uncle got a Linksys BEFSX41, and has Windows XP Home machines that he would like to connect to the VPN router. (I know I can add the security policy management.) He has a dsl connection at his office and a cable connection at home. My uncle is not very computer literate so I'm looking for a solution to easily update the IP address in the security policy management.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advance. |

 | I have SSH Sentinel with the BEFSX41 i have everything setup and it connects to the VPN server fine. however I can not ping anything other that the router which by default is 192.168.1.1. I have the end workstation setup with a static IP of 192.168.1.2 but I can not ping it or may anything on it. I tried \\192.168.1.2\C$ with no luck. What am I doing wrong here? |

 | figured it out myself... the computer on the inside of the VPN connection was running Norton Firewall that I was unaware of.. |
