It doesn't matter that speed is about to increase, if you are in that zone, that's the speed limit. If you have the option for Deferred Disposition, I would take that. Deferred Disposition will alow you to pay an administrative fee of under 100$ plus another 40$ for the Defensive Driving Course. You will then be on probation for the next 6-12 months. If you don't get another ticket during that time, the speeding ticket will be gone from your record. At your age, a speeding ticket on your record is going to increase your rates through the roof, and also for your parents. |
