Denver, CO | Bout time for a Belkin forum! I noticed in the hardware area theres a variety of brands covered, but Belkin isnt. Belkin is clearly a large supplier of network and other devices, and there should clearly be a forum devoted to it the way other brands have one.

I'm confused as to just what you asking for...a Belkin router forum? Because we have forums for other brands of routers? That I would *sign* for that although I would never use any Belkin product as I consider all their products inferior...Walmart type stuff. But if others want a Belkin router forum that's ok by me.
If you are asking for a Belkin forum for UPS and surge protection products then I would *object* because we don't have a forum for APC which is by far the most popular and best brand.

so your saying only a fourm about their routers and such because YOU consider all their products cheap.. APC is popular but so is Belkin.
If a fourm is going to be for a Manufactor- ALL their products should be included. not just one part becuase someone thinks there cheap.

It does NOT make sense to have a Belkin UPS and power strip forum or to extend a Belkin router forum to Belkin UPS and power strips when we have NO forums of that nature for other manufacturers. If we are going to have a Belkin forum for UPS and power strips, then I want an APC forum for these products. It would not be right to have one only for Belkin when APC is the leader in this field and lots of folks here use APC. I don't know anyone here who has a Belkin UPS.
I *object* strongly to anything other than a Belkin router forum ONLY.

The various manufactors Fourm cover ALL their products, not just one or two ALL. why should the Belkin fourm be any diffrent?????
The reason for that there is no other fourm for stuff like power strips and UPS is becuase the topics can be covered in one of the other fourms.
APC may be the leader but Belikin and Tripp Lite still make products of the same sort and make enough money to contuine to manufactor and sell them.

Well then why can't the Belkin stuff be covered in other forums if the APC stuff can? What mkes Belkin more special than APC? Belkin is not a leader in anything and their products are inferior to other brands so why give them a forum and not a superior brand like APC? The only pr oducts I have ever seen by Belkin were cheap power strips and junk stuff. So what do they make and where are they selling it (not here for sure) that qualifies them for a forum over an outstanding product such as APC?
