Im using a slk900a, vantec tornado 80mm or 92? and btw how do you install this to the heatsink if it has a grill wouldn that stop it from installing? |

| 1.) People say that the 92mm is better - but I did some infomral tests a few months back and found that I got better temps with an 80mm.
2.) Remove the grill.

Well the 80mm moves 85CFM. Even at 7v on a retail HS it keeps my 2500+ @ 3200+ below 35C.

the 92mm moves 119 CFM. i have the 92mm and keep it at low on my rheobus. *barely* audible and still moves as much air as many smaller fans at 1/2 the dBs. plus, there's a hell of a lot of headroom in case a heatwave comes =)
