Life is a journey.
Birth is a beginning and death a destination.
I've come to realize there's an unending circle..
Soul touching soul into eternity and love is the compass. Andreas, may you find comfort and strength in the love and support of your family and friends.

Luvfishin...

I am truly saddened to hear about your loss... My father is my best friend... He's always there for me... So I know how you feel...

There is no rehearsal for life, just make the best of the short time that is allocated to you....

Thoughts and prayers...

Kenmo

I would like to thank everyone who has offered their condolences during this extremely difficult time. Although we are all miles apart, the cohesive family spirit of this team is woven tightly. It is my pleasure to be able to call all of you friends.

We said our goodbyes to my father yesterday. At three o'clock in the afternoon we had a wonderful church service. Cremation has taken place this morning.

We are going to miss my father a lot and this home seems empty with only my mom and I here. It is still almost unbelievable.

Although my father never posted in this forum, he did believe in using his computer as a cruncher and was eager to help find a cure. It is ironic that as he began crunching, he nor any of us knew that he was already afflicted with cancer.

My father would want us to keep crunching. I would like to thank everyone who has dedicated crunchers or made donations on my father's behalf.

My mom read this thread with me several times and she says thank you from the bottom of her heart. God bless each and everyone of you.

I just wanted to let you know that my father was a man of his word and would always go the extra mile to help others out. He always put his family first and made sure everyone else was taken care of. He had made his peace with the Lord and I am sure he is now pain-free and in a much better place.

We are so thankful for the certainty of the words of Christ Jesus when He said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. Whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." (John 11:25-26)

Thank You Very Much,

Andraas

Death drew intimately near
Compassion crept to my heart
The shackles of youth
Slipped from my limbs
And I, my self disappeared.
