Honestly, I think it's a waste of money.
I think it looks nice and everything, but waste of money. What do you do with those servers? |

I lease servers. I own a Web Services company called Rack Masters, www.Rackmasters.net. I also have a massive natural gas generator which powers my house if there was to be a power outage. |

I will take some later, as I use a Sony CD-Mavica and the disc in which I took all the pictures got an error when finalizing the disc  . |

What, Alabama Power not good enough for you; sounds like a Mountain Brook attitude to me - I’m just kidding! On another topic, what kind of connection do you have? I was looking at options around UAB, and most of the speeds were below what I was getting out here in the sticks in Blount County, if you can believe that. Do you have a T1 or something? The best I coud find wass 1500/256 Bell South DSL. |

I use to run a large hosting firm online. Do people actually send you their server to host in your home? |

We currently have 2 co-located Dell Intel Xeon 2.8GHz servers in Houston. These were co-located in November, before I started to run them in my home. I will be moving them here soon, but plan on transferring customers to servers here before moving the servers here. |

Also, in 2005 Rack Masters will have a 100% Cisco Powered Network, with a Partial T3 Connection or higher. We will also be offering dial up internet service and cable modem services. Dial Up will extend accross the US as we will use multiple toll free numbers. My cousin who lives in Houston (39) Is a Data Center Engineer. He hasnt been to Birmingham since October when my grandfather passed away, and I didnt have all this before . |

It never fails for someone to start a thread like " this." JBWebmaster , welcome to DSLR, but be forewarned...People here can be very cutting when it comes to claims that turn out to not be true. Plenty of people here are enthusiasts when it comes to networking. If that's what you are, cool, but no need to take it any further than that just for attention. |
