DI-624 C1 2.37 keeps restarting

DI-624 C1 2.37 keeps restarting every 10 seconds.
Already 15 minutes... Hasn't stopped restaring yet!
It is difficult to post even from wired connection...

It was working fine for 2 days and all of sudden...

It seems when the phone is in use it keep rebooting every 10 seconds...
The phone is Panasonic 2.4 GHz wireless

router is in static turbo

It will get returned...

Chances are all these restarts are due to some radio noise either from your phone or your neightbour's phone or router/AP ...

panasonic phones tend to reboot the routers more then others
my siemens rebooted my router pretty badly also

Why does it reboot it?
I understand if my wireless connection got slower or even dropped,
but rebooting of the rooter and dropping all wired connections is unacceptable.

Does netgear router reboot on phone usage?
Also is netgear able to connect at 108 mbps with dlink cards?

The phone is fine - it doesn't reboot.
Can you imagine if the phone was rebooting when the router was in use?!

Could you explain why the wireless phone would only slow down a wireless connection as opposed to killing it? Noisy phones on channel 6, Super G on channel 6, phone uses DSSS, 802.11b uses DSSS....If anything, I would think that with the phone you could talk to the router.......

LOL.

The same way I can talk on the phone while the router is working by using noise protection encoding it should be possible to send at least some data over the connection even if it is at 1mbps. If the noise is too much for even such traffic then it is expected to drop the connection.

However dropping the wireless connection is one thing but rebooting the rooter is another - just a nasty BUG.

Also the phone is able to send my voice encoding over the noise of the router. And btw before I flashed the router to 2.37 it wasn't rebooting at phone usage and in most cases wasn't disconnecting. In both cases the settings were the same.

I am ok if it disconnects but not ok if it reboots.

Ok so far its the Panasonic, Uniden, and Siemen phones, listed in this thread, that are causing the 624 to reboot while in use. Are these all Spread Spectrum 2.4 GHz or a mixture of both? I have a 2.4GHz SS phone and it always causes the 624 to reboot when in use or even if it just rings

I'm not aware of any 2.4GHz devices in my neighborhood, but I'm sure it's possible. I don't have any in my house, so I kind of figure I'm far enough away to avoid RFI. I don't get the reboots if I go back to normal super mode. Static turbo mode never worked with 2.28, but didn't reboot either; just no throughput and the connection would drop.
