The software, if the RIAA gets their way, would have to be installed in p2p applications to filter out any copyrighted materials....

And won't this just rock the world...Another words, RIAA will be stealing even more from software makers as well as there own artists...I wish our Congress would do us all a favor and nuke em....

Adding to my earlier post...after reading through several of the posts here, it would appear that maybe RIAA is getting back at the artists that have bolted from there grip. Think about it, by making sure that only copyrighted materials owned by them make it onto the p2p programs , they would be effectively blocking groups that don't have there stamp or chip of approval...Hummm!!!!
