I actually look at it as a good thing. eMachines now has a larger R & D fund, while retaining their CEO. They will remain seperate from Gateways line of products.

Besides Ted's just cut more service centers out of country stores again and cut some country stores as well. Those stores are the only thing that made Gatway different than Dell. When Joe computer buyer wants to buy a new PC most want to see it first up front, not just on the net.
