| reply to The_Cody my neighbor's both qualify, one just got his connected. while the install tech from bellsouth was at his house i asked him to check out my line. he checked it and said I was go to go, just needed to call in and activate my account...well, I called in , placed an order, waited for 7 days and called in to check on the status of my order...guess what?....they have no record of my order!!!...so I said let's start over and replace the order...now my line does not qualify....me so mad!

| reply to The_Cody Everytime I talk to them they tell me something different. Yesterday they said a DSL order was placed on Friday (the day it was canceled) by a representative. Today they said that there wasn't an order showing up. ? Who knows? I don't like talking to people who know less than me if you know what I mean. I want to talk to someone high up and I want to get a technition out here to look at the lines. Right now there is a bunch of static / noises sounds like two wires bleeding through. I just wonder if the DSL service was hooked up and I didn't know it. Cool if it was.. it just stucks that there would be no modem for a while. Who do I need to talk to get my lines qualified? Since it is about a week old and the system still hasn't qualified me. |

| Ok.. So I decided I wanted DSL. I switched from MCI to Bellsouth in order to qualify. Everyone (that has bellsouth) on my road qualifies. On Monday I ordered my basic phone with DSL. Well.. I guess the line hasn't been checked or reviewed. I still get a unavailable on the website and the order that was 'pending' is in the pending to cancel. The guy on the phone said the techs who went out to look at it said that it wasn't avaible. I don't think that is true that. You know how the tech support people are lol! But yeah. I have only had the bellsouth local service since Tuesday March 1st. How long do I need to wait till the line will qualify? Do I need to speak to a specialist or something on the phone to actually get someone to check out my location? |
