thanks for your help, the problem turned out to be the fact that to set the configurations up i had to plug in the lan cable and input the ip addresss of the modem/router!!:(
this takes you to the set up screen.
second it didnt help that the wireless card on one pc didnt work either!
any way all working now.... |

It's looking like the router cannot see the laptop. Make sure you are bothing using the same standard IE the 11mb / 54mb / 104mb ect as just a guess you might have to set up a card / router to work at a lower speed.

| please help me: i cant get my thomson 570 adsl modem/router to work wirelessly?....it works fine on the lan cable...im on aol 9 but during the set-up of my wirless card im supposed to enter the code on the label of the router..this i do, press ok and then press the registration button on the modem but nothing happens....the light is supposed to turn green on the belkin network card(laptop) but it stays red,i have tried to network cards but nothing works...im getting desperate!
PLEASE HELP ME!
