Oh joy, oh joy... Verizon is now coming out on the 19th because of an evident problem on my line.
A problem? There's no damned problem! Verizon is refusing to allow me to contract with the provider of MY choice either because they feel that the business should be theirs, or because they themselves are in such a bind that they can't spare the time or man-hours to hook us up.
Everything smells like a delaying action. Well, it smells like something, anyway... -- Hello. My name is Chipinphilly. You killed my DSL. Prepare to die. |

| Well Chip, we must be dealing with the same damn idiots then. I just had a second technician come to my house to state the already obvious . . . I DID have Northpoint DSL after all. Yet Verizon techs at the C.O. still maintain that I am at 19,000+ feet (and yet I had a minimum 416/416 SDSL line throughout my year of Northpoint service). Every field tech has verified that I'm under 18,000 feet and cannot understand why they - Verizon - would block Rhythms or NAS from installing a new line to my house. Definitely sounds like a delaying tactic. |

Anon | Yes, this is now through Covad instead of Rhythms. |

| Man.. Fu** that.. Why not get OOL? »www.optimumonline.com As much as I may not be happy about my Telocity line, thank God it works because if it didn't, I'd be on cable right now. Well, not really, it's not available in my neighborhood yet. -- OMARNYC.COM - My place on the web - »www.omarnyc.com |
