Well Chip, we must be dealing with the same damn idiots then. I just had a second technician come to my house to state the already obvious . . . I DID have Northpoint DSL after all. Yet Verizon techs at the C.O. still maintain that I am at 19,000+ feet (and yet I had a minimum 416/416 SDSL line throughout my year of Northpoint service). Every field tech has verified that I'm under 18,000 feet and cannot understand why they - Verizon - would block Rhythms or NAS from installing a new line to my house. Definitely sounds like a delaying tactic. |
