OK,
I seem to have an ongoing problem that needs resolved. I am running windows 2000, office 2000 pro (full), McAfee 8, (I had 7, no diff. on prob.). Anyway the software is installed off the cd... Yes, tried the soft off the site (It didn't work at all.) WEP 128 is enabled (Corp Network guys). The code is in right. Strong Sig., connects, but won't obtain an IP (DHCP)... Using Linksys 802.11B AP, Linux Box doing dhcp (yes the other pc's work)... Yes, Infrastructure... So, I forced a number... I can ping other pc's on the network, but DNS isn't working, so no Internet... BTW, I just reinstalled windows... (worm) had a ghost image, so everything got overwritten.
It may be McAfee, No I can't/won't use anything else. It could also be a bad card (but i have a connection and good sig.)
Suggestions???
