Is there any disadvantage to disabling DCHP on the Cayman 3220 H and using hard coding of ip addresses on the lan clients nic cards?

clubs:		 th eonly disadvantage i know of is if the DNS server ips change. what i usually do is on each machine code the first DNS as the ISP dns 1, then the second as the cayman lan ip. this way, if they change your DNS ips, you will get it from the cayman.
