| [FAH] Fold, without beeing on line ??
I will be moving next week. And I will have no DSL for 10 days. I have the laptop with it's 56K modem, but alas we also need the phone. How do I fold without having a always on connection ? In other words, just go online when a WU is finished long enough to send it out and get a new one. -- Dutch Click here to participate in something wonderful |

| reply to georgequ George, are you monitoring FAH with EM III??? If so, just keep an eye on it, and you'll know when to go online to upload the finished WU and download a new one.
If it's going to happen in the middle of the night, it'll just have to wait until you get up in the morning -- unless you want to stay up all night! -- "...If the beasts were gone, we would die from a great loneliness of spirit." - Chief Seattle |

| reply to jopfef Running the GUI version on Windows ME, Internet Explorer 6,something. I lost partially finished WU's while running the console version. Because I use DOS programs. ( Used CTRL C too ) Have not lost anything with the GUI version yet. Even after my experience with that nasty virus, it took right off from where it was. -- Dutch Click here to participate in something wonderful |

| Right-click on the tray icon... | | Check the option to dial out! |
Okay, George!
Here is the link on how to configure the GUI version of FAH to request permission to dialup for uploading and downloading. Go here: »home.comcast.net/~no0/GV/. About halfway down the page, there are instructions on how to configure the client in the FAH Control Panel.
You should be able to right-click on the icon in your tray, and it'll bring up the Config menu. Once there, you should be able to change the option to have FAH request permission to dialup, to upload and download. Reference the enclosed pictures.

| Yes, I found it and will enable it while I am on Dail-up We should be closing sometime this coming week. Got another problem there though. There is just a single phone outlet in the dining room. And guess what, it has a real old time black rotary dial phone plugged into it. Looks like I will have to run some CAT 5 cables before every works the way I want it to. -- Dutch Click here to participate in something wonderful |

I LOVE my black rotary phone! That phone is close to fifty years old and still going strong (inherited it when the school I went to put in digital lines). None of my 'modern' phones have lasted that well or sound that good. Too bad I need touch tone, or I would have it up here by the computer. -- I am not lost, I find myself every time. |
