Running the GUI version on Windows ME, Internet Explorer 6,something.
I lost partially finished WU's while running the console version. Because I use DOS programs. ( Used CTRL C too )
Have not lost anything with the GUI version yet.
Even after my experience with that nasty virus, it took right off from where it was.

Right-click on the tray icon...

Check the option to dial out!
Okay, George!

Here is the link on how to configure the GUI version of FAH to request permission to dialup for uploading and downloading. Go here: »home.comcast.net/~no0/GV/. About halfway down the page, there are instructions on how to configure the client in the FAH Control Panel.

You should be able to right-click on the icon in your tray, and it'll bring up the Config menu. Once there, you should be able to change the option to have FAH request permission to dialup, to upload and download. Reference the enclosed pictures.

Lemme know if this works for you!

Yes, I found it and will enable it while I am on Dail-up
We should be closing sometime this coming week.
Got another problem there though.
There is just a single phone outlet in the dining room. And guess what, it has a real old time black rotary dial phone plugged into it.
Looks like I will have to run some CAT 5 cables before every works the way I want it to.

I LOVE my black rotary phone! That phone is close to fifty years old and still going strong (inherited it when the school I went to put in digital lines). None of my 'modern' phones have lasted that well or sound that good. Too bad I need touch tone, or I would have it up here by the computer.
