 [VPN] VPN Setup Problem

Dear Sir,

I want to setup a VPN between two offices of ours. One
is in INDIA and second is in US.

I have installed Two RV082 Routers on both ends along
with Dedicated (Public) IP Address. I have created a
Tunnel and after that both of router show status
"Connected".

The problem is that I am not able to ping the other
Network internal ips.

I am not getting any support from Linksys guys even.

Pls. Help.

regards,

Tej Pal

Hi Tej,

Many of us in the USA who use the product have seen our jobs cut and moved to India because we are told here that in India people are better educated, smarter and wanting to happily work for less than "the bad under-educated" American IT people. Many of us have an ethical issue helping our replacements when we had embarrasment and financial hardships in being replaced. To help level the playing field, my suggestion is that you put pressure on the people in India who sold you the Linksys. If there is no support there for the product there should be as you are entittled to it as a customer and human being. Big companies like Cisco need to understand that if they will sell products in a place like the US or India, they need local support teams. If that means higher prices for quality products then so be it. I hope you find a solution to the issue.

Thanks Brother,

I was looking for a solution from my IT friends from this forum.

Anyways, thanks for the time you have given while writing your reply.

Regards,

Tej Pal
