[Security] WRT54G firewall help needed

I'm a former D-Link DI-624 user who has switched to a WRT54G. I need to be able to do something like the following:

1)Allow connections to certain machines on my LAN on specific ports from only a certain range of IP addresses.

2) Allow certain machines on my LAN to access the Internet on only specific ports.

This was pretty straight forward on my old router, but the Linksys interface has me a little confused. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

I'm fairly certain you can't do this. With port forwarding you either let in all IP's or none.

Have you had a look at access restrictions and tried creating policies?

You could probably do this with the latest Sveasoft firmware for the WRT54g but you have to mainly create your own iptables rules.
