BEFW11S4 disconnection from internte

hi, my friend the BEFW11S4 and it disconnect from the internet about every 24 hr
she has the newest firmware and nothing seems to be wrong the last time i checked it
however, i'm not sure what kind of disconnection it is yet, she just said she need to power cycle the router before it would work again
so, i'm just wondering if this is a common problem with a quick fix
