If you look at the »/archive you'll see were the 2cnd fastest ISP, which should really be #1 if you ask me. But this AGI or whatever there name is cranking out 8000+ to alot of folks, and thats that limit for these tango's. Youl rarely see 8mb
Anyways, i thought it was pretty nice to see us @ #2. Great Work Alex. Connections been solid. I actually had to IM Karl Bode  to get us on that list. I guess there was a problem, or something that needed to be updated, and was being overlooked. I knew it seemed kinda strange that we weren't on the list at all.

Well, I wouldn't say the world... let's just say out of the national providers. I know that people in Japan and other countries that have 30+Mb links to their house. I'm just a bit envious... 8Mb bursts are nice though..hehe
However, this is very impressive. It looks like it's based on the average of all the speed tests for a given time period. So if we only post (you have the option after running the test) the highest test results, then we should move up to #1 in the next few weeks.
But it is a little misleading.. Since the few speed tests from Black Mtn to Quest at 15Mb+ speeds is giving us a little advantage over our competition.

Well I don't think those 2 test really adjust the avg that much at all. Its only 2 test out of 140 or something.
Yes it does change the average, but enough to say its misleading....emmm.. probably not. I mean .. you can order those speeds if you need them.
And your right.. were probably not the fastest in the world, but it just looks like it from the list ...heh.
Its still cool though. What beam are you on prag?

Heh, we're #1 today. You're right, those speeds can be ordered, but I still think we are swinging the charts in our favor by those 3 hi-speed tests. Those really don't indicate an average of all.
What beam ? I think 5 from Black Mountain. But that seems to change a few times, so I'm really not sure.
