We need at least destination ports to be able to get some idea as to what the traffic is. For example every user on the internet is likely to see around a 100 scans/attacks an hour. While these are easily defeated with a firewall (everyone on the planet should be running a firewall anymore), but it should give you an idea as to the amount of junk going on out there.

ALso if you want you can input the suspecting ip here »www.mynetwatchman.com/ and see if it shows any scanning originating from that ip. |

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if it's being dropped or not. The log never reports if it's being dropped. I get them constantly, filling up my log everyday. Is this a common entry with any router log? |

Is the packet being dropped? If so then dont worry about it..It can be almost anything like for example messenger spam etc.. |

@adelphia.net | I have a Gigafast router. Randomly I check the log file to see what's going on. I always see "Unknow Incoming Packet on TCP" also on UDP. I have my dmz on a non-existent ip. So, what is that unknown incoming packet? |
