Spikey ping ingame

I can download files fast just fine, but when I try and play games online my ping spikes alot and my ping isnt very consistant. Im on Communicomm and it seems like everyone I know who uses them has the same problems.

Is it normal for the graph to spike up into the red like that?

I am having the very same problem. Im connected through a wireless antenna. When I try to play a game online my ping is totally cracy high. I have pings on 500 - 1000 on all severs.:(

Also I cant ping out from my connection. And I have turned the firewall in XP. Can somebody help me

Please help me.
