As Comcast forbids them to be run on their network. Even for business customers with business accounts and static ip's.

Nextel is also employing transparent firewalling to keep certain types of traffic from entering or leaving their network. Don't start salivating just yet. If you read the tech docs the service will see burst speeds of 3mbps, bout the same as cable. Upload around 384 and low latency. Supposedly easy to deploy as well, with them just plugging the base station into their IP network. Woo hoo. I too cant wait untill they deploy it nationally.

It is also expected to cost around 40-50/month according to flarions estimate, however it looks like Nextel bumbed up that price.
