| Well, there's good and bad across upstate NY,
poor people that they must subsidize with nearly free phone service (universial service fund) out in the 'sticks' and the new 'mandate' of brining them access to broadband.. is daunting a task, while companies running community based fiber is cherry picking the best of the best in verizon's territory upstate and they're increasingly left with raspberries, tough luck... I say they should deploy fiber to replace copper all the way to the customer's home.. by 2007-2010, meaning that they have millions of miles of fiber to go in their network.. and if in the next year or two you hear an Indian accented customer service agent answering the calls, thank Republican deregulation... for removing thousands more jobs from the U.S.A.!
But I better get that fiber soon.. it's part of a balanced daily diet... |
