Bazillion back up in San Jose California

I have a linux box setup trying to bring the ethernet interface back up and emailing me with the ip address every 5 to 10 minutes. At 1:05 PST December 29th I was back online.... odd too? I really don't know wtf is going on even though bazillion through in the towel.

I have my doubts about dsl through covad no matter what ISP you choose.. covad is just above a buck a share and about to go under! I don't see any of these company's staying in business for long. I guess I will just milk the 50 bucks a month idsl for as long as they stay alive.
Oh well.. I've had this service for 1 week and its been down for 80 hours during that time.. haha what crap

Massive outate 1/09/2001 - present

My Service went out on January 9th, 2001 and has been down now for 4 days. I have called their support number 1000 times, called their main corporate number was told they would call me back (never heard back from them), I then called the number contained within their whois records (it was fake) and finally sent multiple emails to the company politely asking for an estimated time until my services would be back up.

It is now the 4th day and I have heard nothing they refuse to repond to me and as of this morning both number (corporate and support) have busy signals (i.e. off the hook). As of this evening their website is now offline although their mail server still remains up.

I really wish I knew what was going on.. they have never contacted me explaining to me what is going on and at this point I am going to refuse any further charges from this company. If anyone has any information of what is to be come of this terrible isp I would appreciate some information.

Bazillion/Covad should be prosecuted

Ive had bazillions service since june of 2000 it was satisfactory, but i signed up with that 1 year contract and they have broken it and they should PAY. They should refund the modem, installation charges etc. If any of us were to back out we would have to pay, so i think they should as well. We should set up a lawsuit against these dirtbags.

I agree. I think that Jamie Howard et al should stop acting like scam-artists and take responsibilty.

I agree wholeheartedly. This is highway robbery.
