| try this... Instead of complaining about no support for your os, try to using an external router like the cisco 67x. If you are running a network (and you are), this device will do all the connecting to the isp for you and then it will act as a dhcp host for your network, it gives the added protection of a physical firewall in the process. I work for a dsl provider and this is one of the things we recommend for network users.

| Re: What does this have to do with Cactus? This has absolutely nothing to do with Cactus. I am a victim of the web wheel on my mouse. Right before I submitted my review, I was scrolling down the page and the cursor must have passed over the drop-down menu for the ISP name. Imagine my surprise when I saw Cactus Computers up there instead of Covad.net once I posted it! I let dslreports know of my blunder and am awaiting a reply on a possible solution.
My apologies to Cactus Computers! | |
