| PacBell complaints I'm glad to hear that you only had a few mistakes with PacBell. You have been blessed. I wish your statement about most if not all PacBell complaints being due to the fact that people were far from the CO was true. The truth is, the little mishaps you've experienced are par for the course when dealing with PacBell, and greater problems are very common, regardless of your distance. I think if you read the reviews, you'll find a variety of issues, not just speed issues due to distance. | |

join:2001-06-26 Porter Ranch, CA | Can i use somebody's PacBell installation CD-ROM? Hey,
I ordered PacBell DSL, got modem, installed modem, but didn't get PB installation disk. Can i use friend's CD (he is PB customer too, but his ISP is Prodigy, and mine i believe PacBell)?
Thanks, makulatura@yahoo.com | |
