| applink service How can you be happy with the service if your connection is horrible? That _is_ the service...I'm thinking about switching to applink (if they cover my area...why they restrict to one prefix in denton, i dunno...) from Sprint Ion which is going to be canceled at the end of the year (sucks, cause 6mb/800kb is nice, all for the handy dandy price of $100, which includes local/longdistance phone service). Has the service improved any since you last posted? (wonders if he'll ever get a response) | |

| Re: applink service I'm happy with the service I get from Applink. They only provide the servers that I go through to connect to the internet. Verizon provides the DSL service that gets me to Applink's boxes. Verizon's service has not been so good. There are some old, crappy wires between me and the Central office, and I've had a lot of problems getting a clean modem connection to the CO. If I call to report a problem, they send out a tech, but by the time he gets to my place the problem has gone away. (This may take half a day). If the connection is up and working, things are just fine. | |
