Hi!

I also have DSL through Omsoft, great service for over 6 months now, no more having to work in the labs till late at night . None of that Pac Bell PPPoE connection software BS too

Anyway, since you just had your DSL line set up, you might want to visit the tweaks forum here on DSLReports. They could help you configure your machine to get the most out of your DSL line. Enjoy!

OMsoft is better than OK.

Omsoft is way superior for anyone in my situation.
Their techs know what they're doing and they're very responsive.
I had Earthlink (PPPoE) and got speeds less than 128kbs down. After calling/being put on hold for hours I finally got someone to help. Took over a week. After 2 or 3 days of tweaking I was down to modem speeds. My problem, they said, was that I'm 16.5K feet from the CO.

I cancelled (without penalty) and called Omsoft.
No waiting, no PPPoe. Two fixed IP addresses $53/month for 384/128. BUT I Consistently get around 750/137
