| Data light constantly blinks As long as your modem has a solid cable light and a solid PC light, the data light will blink. This is completely normal.
This does not necessarily indicate traffic going from your network to RR, or traffic from RR going to your network. It simply indicates that there is traffic going across RR, and that the modem is functioning correctly.
And...
I just upgraded to the 8mb throughput offered by my local cable company. Speedtests returned downstream throughput of 7.4 mb. Can't wait to put this to a real test! |
