masts

Well he does not mention anything about what goes on his house. if its like sprint broadband wireless I doubt your association would allow you to have a 40 foot mast for the antenna on your roof
And it is kind of expensive for the speeds you're getting. 256/256

Re: masts

It's my understanding that what goes "on" your house depends almost entirely on your distance from the nearest transmitter, and how clear your line of sight is to that transmitter.

In my case, I'm a few hundred yards away. From this close, the line of sight requirement doesn't seem to apply. The antenna is actually mounted IN my attic. And it's pretty small anyway...

Speeds? Pings?

What are your actual speeds and pings? What were the startup costs? Yearly contract? Is the antenna a small square or ?

Re: Speeds? Pings?

256 up and down, and my contract is for 6 months, as I said in my review. Startup costs were $500 for equipment, as stated on the MCC web site.

There are pictures of the various antennas on the MCC web site as well. Mine is a small square. Yours may or may not be -- I think it depends on your particular situation and what service you order.

Speeds -

Can't be too much higher than 256/256.

Why do you say that?

Well if you goto MCC's site and look under the $75 range, you'll see that 256/256 is the closest to that price.

What is the equipment?

What kind of equipment was installed and what kind of install price did you have to pay?
