| Too good to last?
It may seem good now but all internet services seem to go sour after a year or two. I've tried about a dozen over the years and have yet to find any that can continue good service for long and aren't crooks. Also, I just checked the daru.com web site and they are giving away a vacation in San Diego to the first 1000 customers. I don't even think it's legal to have a contest where you have to buy service to enter.

Well, you got me there. I've seen them come and go as well. Lets see, I've had Goodnet, Primenet, DoItNow, AOL (v.1.0 for the DOS O.S., heh heh),Qwest, and now Deru. I think of all of them, Qwest was about the best up until now. And yeah, I think it *is* weird to offer a vacation like that. But... they do provide great service. For now. In all fairness, I should update my review in a few months after the honeymoon is over. I think I'll do just that.

| I wish to address the contest we are having - it's perfectly legal and legit - we have always had a link to request more details via email, but since this is not the first time someone wondered about the legality of us having a contest, we have put the full details of the contest on our web site which we believe meets most of the legal requirements in Arizona.
It's common for businesses to offer contests - it's just one way to market our services in hopes that people will try our services out. For example, Coca Cola has pop top contests all the time.
The house is really cool and some one will have a great time there.
