Most true geeks are like that

That's funny, your comment about tech support. Most true geeks I've met, or those who actually know what they're talking about, are like what you describe. I've been in tech support, and you'll find that the nicest ones are often the least knowledgable - they haven't been in tech support long enough to become bitter and resentful Or you've caught one who's in a rare good mood. You gotta understand the type of human who does tech support. I speak from having done it off and on since early 1998. I don't think DSL-Only is bad for the par, especially compared to the likes of some of our other local ISPs, past and present.
