Here's hoping this works out.

| Re: Applink (in Grapevine) bought by Waymark The move over to Waymark went pretty well. They went two days early because of a Verizon problem, but they handled it quite well. The techs were quick to answer the phone, couteous, and helpful. Still get two static IP address, and still get to run my little server apps (unlike other services which just say no).
Speeds are a little slower, but not too bad. Not getting the full 1.5 I was used to, so only time will tell if they will add capacity as they add customers. I don't see anything that worries me yet.
Whoever dissed Waymark before obviously didn't have the same experience I did when working with the techs.

Speeds are up. With 1.5Mbps form Verizon I get downloads up to 1.2Mbps while still running other apps, so Waymark is delivering. They honored the same prices I had with Applink so things are going fairly well.

Yea, what do you think now that they have been down for 2 straight days. When you call their support all they say is I don't know they haven't told me anything. The message on their website says they are in constant contact with the loop provider. A lot of good that is doing us. The fact that they don't have a backup system shows you where you stand when something fails.
