wow 1 gig/month

well 1 gig a month is bad i mean... for the price they are charging it shoudl be unlimmited... my cable is 45 a month and i do from 2 - 3 gigs PER DAY on average. That's like 100 gigs a month. (no i'm not a freak i just que up some d/l's when i go out)

A gig/month is probably the biggest thing that keeps them from being oversold ala SBBD. sounds like its for the 'casual surfer/email' type person and not the downloader/gamer. what kind of uploads are seen on this service?

I have Bellsouth FastAccess DSL and I get a constant (well when I'm not doing heavy downloading and uploading) 1250 down / 220 up - for $45 a month.

It seems like fixed wireless still has some ways to go before it can penetrate into the mainstream and become a more versatile technology.

You are nocking the price Aero, but remember, you are in Long Beach. Out here in Murrietta/Wildomar, there aren't many options. Verizon is too damn slow to get dsl service out here. They are building homes like CRAZY...but Verizon takes their good time to get dsl out here.
